  • Zomato and Yulu have teamed to provide Zomato's delivery partners with environmentally friendly last-mile delivery solutions.

  • Zomato will deploy Yulu's DeX EV for intra-city deliveries, and Yulu will give delivery partners 25,000–35,000 Yulu vehicles on personalized rental schedules.

  • According to Yulu, its DeX electric scooter has been specifically designed for the delivery ecosystem, and the company's solutions may increase delivery partners' revenues by up to 40%.

Yulu, a company that offers shared electric mobility as a service (MaaS), has teamed up with the food delivery service Zomato to give Zomato's delivery partners a sustainable last-mile delivery choice. As part of the agreement, Zomato will employ Yulu's DeX EV for deliveries throughout the city. Using the Zomato platform, Yulu will provide 25,000–35,000 Yulu's to delivery partners for last-mile deliveries based on personalized rental plans. According to Yulu, it offers variable rental packs and enables delivery partners to make more money than with ICE-powered cars.

According to Yulu, the DeX electric scooter was explicitly designed to serve the delivery environment. With its purpose-built DeX product, stable operations, and extensive network of battery-swapping stations, Yulu claims that its solutions may increase the profitability of delivery partners by up to 40%. After all 25,000+ Yulu DeX is deployed, Yulu claims that the DeX electric scooter can handle three lakh green deliveries every day by 2026.

This collaboration between Yulu and Zomato is crucial since it supports both firms' initiatives to lower their carbon footprints and promote environmentally friendly and sustainable delivery practices. As part of The Climate Group's EV100 program, Zomato has pledged to convert its delivery fleet to 100% electric. Zomato has advanced in achieving this objective by partnering with Yulu.

In the coming years, Yulu's partnership with Zomato seeks to provide delivery partners with innovative and reasonably priced green mobility options. As of February 2023, Yulu has already onboarded over 4,000 delivery partners who use Yulu's EVs to perform last-mile deliveries. Almost 50,000 delivery partners have profited from Yulu's more than 75 million green deliveries.
